Community Outreach

In Uganda, 41% people live in poverty on less than $1.90 a day. The local community of Busiriba sub-county faces daily the problem of finding clean water and stable food sources. Many families go to bed hungry, and cold. Poor infrastructure around drinking water also leads to the spread of disease. While these are not problems that can be solved overnight, it is possible to start somewhere.

Our community outreach has had its focus on practical ways to provide assistance and gradually increase the quality of living in our area.

We can’t end hunger, but we established a community kitchen that provides free meals to impoverished children and families.

We can’t end scarcity, but we can distribute clothes.

We collect clothing and other necessary household items and distribute them to families in immediate need. We organize distributions twice a month.

We can’t end illness, but we can install water collection tanks.

Our tanks to collect and dispense fresh rainwater to use in washing. Since 2021, we have installed over a dozen water tanks in the surrounding villages.Over 300 people are currently supported by our water tanks.

In 2025, we used Borehole Drilling to ensure a steady water supply for the children at school and the surrounding community. Using previously raised donations, we bought a generator and water pump to bring the water up to the school. We also installed six more big plastic tanks to harvest rainwater.

We continue to organize projects to improve sanitation and access to clean water.
